SourceAbled is seeking candidates for a Upstream Process Development Contractor – Associate Scientist with our client Pfizer, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Seeking candidates in Andover, MA  or willing to  relocate.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9 – 5 / Occasional weekend/off hours as needed within 40-hour work week

Job Description:              

  • The individual will join a team of scientists and engineers focused on developing and optimizing mammalian cell culture processes for recombinant proteins and biologics for early-phase and late-phase clinical trials.
  • He or she will be responsible for executing mammalian cell culture experiments in bench-top bioreactors and associated scale-down equipment with the goal of developing robust, scalable, high productivity processes that produce therapeutic proteins with the appropriate product quality attributes for use in treating human disease.
  • The work will also involve working with clinical production facilities to ensure accurate technology transfer and successful large-scale production.

  • BA, Masters (preferred) in science
