Job Description
SourceAbled is seeking candidates for a Exciting opportunity with Biopharmaceutical company in Frederick MD for "Manufacturing Technician".
- Day shift. Start times are flexible but it would be 8am-7pm, 7am-6pm (1 hour lunch included in those hours)
- The schedule consist of 4, 10hr days per week with varying days off in between each shift
- The schedule is as follows: 4 days on 1 day off / 4 days on 2 days off/ 4days on 3 days off/ 4 days on 6 days off
The Material Handlers follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in daily activities. Performs receiving, picking, shipping, equipment monitoring and material control. Revises SOP’s. Initiates and completes deviations, as required. Provides leadership to other team members.
Job Responsibilities:
Material Handler I: (Primary responsibilities, but these individuals could also take on some Material Handler II and III responsibilities, which can be seen below)
- Picks for production at FMC
- Picks / delivery for production at GPF
- General supply maintenance
- Non-GMP receiving
- Non-GMP deliveries
- Paper/FedEx supplies in admin area
- Routine cleaning
- Material handling equipment / fleet maintenance
- Non-GMP and GMP material shipments (excluding hazmat)
- Management of LN2 cylinders
- Cycle counts
- Train others on appropriate tasks/systems
- Coordination of receiving dock
- Support OE/6S mind set
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Drivers license required.
- Forklift certification a plus.
Organization Skills:
- Ability to prioritize work requirements, must be well organized and able to manage time efficiently, and must have a strong sense of responsibility.
Computer Skills:
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, EXCEL and Word a plus.
- Experience using SAP a plus.
- Education Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
Shift Scheduled: Some weekends
- Will be rotating 4- 10's plus flex
