Job Summary:

The Performance component directly reflects that success is based on business outcomes achieved; while the Advisory component represents the expected contribution further along the value chain, with shared accountability for results. 

P&A professionals will be equal team members on the Finance teams to which they are assigned, sharing ownership of business outcomes. Functionally aligned. Directly assigned. 

Within Performance & Advisory we have five towers, collaborating as needed to achieve shared outcomes and shared success: 

  • P&A Account & Portfolio Performance  

  • P&A Forecasting & Planning 

  • P&A Payroll & Cost Optimization 

  • P&A Data Analytics & Storytelling 

  • P&A Investments 

  • P&A Competitor Financials 

  • P&A Integrated Delivery Finance 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders 

  • Represent finance in key leadership reviews.   Communicate key performance indicators – sales, revenue, pipeline, growth, CCI   etc – and business outlook in Quarterly Business Reviews with Technology Leadership 

  • Work with Business Group(s) global, market, and industry leads on a regular basis using financial data to understand market dynamics and areas for improvement 

  • Work closely with Operations, HR, and BG leadership to assess resource demand needs based on pipeline and revenue metrics.  

  • Assist with V&A assessments and integrations to ensure we are acquiring the right companies and achieving the business case   

  • Understand the MD&I strategy and make sure we are investing in the correct areas  

  • Advocate, champion, message, storytelling  

  • Prepare materials in support of monthly state of the business reviews, quarterly business reviews, and other leadership meetings with Accenture Leadership 

  • Fosters a collaborative environment across finance and other functions 

  • Manage financial reporting and analysis to drive actionable insights 

  • Assessment and identification of business / financial interventions to deliver current fiscal year targets  

  • Support Senior Leadership with ad-hoc analysis as required, and in preparation of investment business cases, supporting offering development and target pricing/costing as appropriate 

  • Leads and develops a higher performing team of finance professionals in P&A 

 

 

 

 
 
 
 

Qualifications 

 
 
 

Your skills and qualifications 

 
 
 

- 10+ years of experience in Finance, Innovation, Strategy, or Business Operations with relevant or complimentary third level qualifications 

 
 
 

- Self-starter with ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives at the same time 

 
 
 

- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, and an ability to foster relationships at all levels within the organisation 

 
 
 

- Strong team working and collaboration skills with experience of working in a large-matrix organisation

 
 
 

- Inquisitive and analytically minded. Positive attitude and flexibility. 

 
 
 

- Comfortable with learning new technology and providing functional support 

 
 
 

- MS Excel (advanced), MS Powerpoint

Nice to Haves: 

 
 
 

- Degree in Business or Finance is preferable. Relevant experience can supersede Degree requirements 

 
 
 

- Knowledge of Economic model advantageous 

 
 
 

- Sharepoint, PowerBI and SQL Skills preferable, but not mandatory 

 
 
 

- PMO & Budget Forecasting Skills 

 
 
 

- Comfort with technology terms
