SourceAbled's client has a great opportunity for recent and / or upcoming grads for a Creative Agency Intern (Writer) Summer 2025 (Hybrid- 3 Days in Office) roles. These roles are full time, direct hire position with Freddie Mac. This is a hybrid position located in McLean VA - 3 days in office. The salary range for this position is $54,000 - $82,000 and you would eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
Interns are paid at a set, non-negotiable hourly rate. The hourly rate for this role is $32/hour.
At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and you’ll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation.

The Creative Agency Intern will support Freddie Mac In-House Creative Agency with concepting, planning and executing written content in a variety of mediums. This individual must be able to work independently and wear multiple hats to support a variety of projects.

We do it by telling creative and inspiring stories about our company, our people, and the impact of our work. Our team of marketing, digital, creative and research professionals work in partnership with the PR/Media, business, and technology teams to distill complex concepts into engaging stories about how we shape and evolve the housing market.
Your Impact:
- Collaborate with our team of designers, CDs, editors and producers in creation of engaging content from conception through delivery
- Help concept and execute on headline campaigns, video scripts, and a host of other creative/strategic writing tasks
- Support creative team with ongoing and ad hoc initiatives
- Develop professional aptitude in a multidisciplinary creative in-house agency setting
- Help connect our audiences with the mission-driven work we produce
Qualifications
- Currently working towards a degree in creative or related field
- Graduating in December 2025 or May 2026
- Experience in effective, inspiring, and strategic storytelling
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, take direction and work collaboratively
- Come with an understanding of creative writing for advertising specifically— and how inventive use of language can be used to grab and hold the attention of different audiences.
- Must have a strong ability to collaborate, communicate and problem solve.
- Aesthetic sensibility and high qualitative standards/expectations are a plus. Our team does great work and seeks applicants that can keep up with the pace, put great stuff out there and be a part of a dynamic creative group.
