DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate client, procedures and guidelines, this position:
•Assembles various materials into subassemblies or finished products using appropriate tools and equipment, in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.
•Maintains accurate records/documentation related to work in progress and quality checks.
•Performs in process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.
•Works with production supervisor and/or engineers to resolve line issues.
•Assists with basic maintenance of tools or equipment and advises supervisor, shift/team leader and area technician when tools or equipment need maintenance or repairs.
•Labels and/or paints products.
•Packages and labels product according to manufacturing specifications.
•Operates small equipment, cutter machines, jigs, filling equipment, and assembly fixtures and standard measuring instruments.
•Performs assembly of molded rubber part sub-assemblies.
•Monitors and responds to equipment and process issues that may lead to non-compliance.
•Accountable for adhering to and enforcing all quality and safety guidelines.
•Identifies and elevates all immediate and potential quality, safety, or environmental issues (material, procedure, and process) as observed.
•Inspects assemblies and sub-assemblies devices.
•Reviews device records, follow established procedures, and prepares necessary documentation as required.
•Must maintain good manufacturing and documentation practices in accordance to procedures outlined according to cGMP.
•Flexibility to cross train to other departments according to business needs.
•Provide training to new employees or other team members as requested; in manufacturing processes with the support of the coordinator.
•Maintains an updated and current training record and adheres to training timelines.
•Participates in Safety initiatives and programs by either joining Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or reporting unsafe practices/conditions to shift/team leader.
•Identify continuous improvement opportunities for process and equipment.
•Helps to meet daily efficiencies by focused approach to performing tasks compliantly and safely according to procedure/process.
•Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
•Participate on Quality and Production report meetings
•Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
•Demonstrate independent understanding and application of core GMP fundamentals, including but not limited to: Data Integrity (DI), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
•Performs other duties assigned as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

•A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. On the job training provided.
•Requires 2-4 years of related experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS 

•LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend procedures in English.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to read manufacturing blueprints.

•COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic computer skills, including Windows Operating Systems and applications or equivalent are required

Pay rates are 17.50/hr on 1st shift: 6am-6pm and 18.50/hr on 2nd shift: 6pm-6am

This position has a sign on bonus of $500 at 30 working days

Retention bonus of $500 at 90 days
