SourceAbled is seeking a Direct Hire Payroll Assoicate - Special Projects M&A to join our client Pfizer Pharmaceauticals in Tampa FL. This postition includes full benefits with exceptional opportunities for growth and advancement and the work location is FLEXIBLE.

The Payroll Associate – Special Projects and M&A will assist in the coordination and execution of projects in the US Payroll function with a focus on continuous improvement, optimization and M&A. This includes but not limited to projects relating to new payroll technology/automation, payroll remediation/enhancement, time and attendance system enhancement and coordination of M&A projects. The Associate will work closely with the US Manager – Special Projects and M&A and other stakeholders.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Assist project manager for key payroll, time-keeping and M&A projects, including but not limited to developing and monitoring the project plan, participating in project meetings and handling project related communications.

·       Partner with the payroll and tax processing team during projects in M&A and continuous improvement initiatives.

·       Work with key stakeholders and payroll operations to understand, capture and analyze business needs and improvement opportunities.

·       Communicate project status and escalate issues to M&A and payroll leadership as appropriate.

·        Assess, request and track budgets to implement projects assigned.

·       Assist in creation and documentation of practices and playbooks to support ongoing work in M&A, innovation and continuous improvement.

 

 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Finance, Information Technology or a related field

  • 3+ years’ experience in payroll, finance or business development projects and/or continuous improvement efforts

  • Knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing

  • Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess and propose process solutions.

  • Experience working on multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating a pragmatic approach and results orientation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working on project teams in M&A and payroll.

  • Experience working in large, high volume payroll operations, including a managed services model

  • Experience with ADP, Workday, Kronos or other common payroll/HCM systems

  • Certified Payroll Professional, PMP certification or similar professional designation
