SourceAbled is seeking candidates for a Direct Hire role as a Admin Specialist with our client Pfizer, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Seeking candidates in Sanford, NC or willing to relocate.
Performs full clerical, administrative, and general office duties utilizing proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite. Requires significant secretarial experience. Has knowledge of department and company organization, operations, and procedures.
- Organizes and maintains files of supervisor(s) / team’s correspondence, records, etc., following up on pending matters.
- Acts as a receptionist for the supervisor(s), screening telephone calls, letters, and/or visitors, answers routine questions, and furnishes information, when possible, to save supervisor’s time.
- Schedules appointments and coordinates arrangements for meetings and conferences. May coordinate large meetings and frequently make travel arrangements.
- Routes or answers routine correspondence not requiring supervisor’s attention.
- Prepares regular reports that gather and summarize data and monitors departmental budget. Project based work to help support the business.
Produces a variety of correspondence, reports, and presentations using the appropriate software for word processing, graphics, and spreadsheets using MS Office Suite.
- Places orders and submits purchase orders for assigned department members using company procurement system.
High School Diploma with 6 years of experience or Associate degree in Admin with 4 years of experience. Excellent written/oral and analytical skills. Able to draft routine correspondence and establish own priorities. Proven organizational skills and proficient PC skills (including MicroSoft Office Suite). Understanding of Company and department procedures and systems.
Well organized with ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and within deadlines. Proficient problem solving skills.
Must be able to lift packages at least 25 pounds in weight.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Standard Schedule 8:00am-4:30pm
There is some overtime associated with this role.
