What You Will Achieve 

In your role, you’ll perform planning or coordination activities to enable repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, machines and/or equipment.  You may support work related to conducting routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment. 

You will be known to be team player, who is able to achieve targets on time. Through your domain knowledge and commitment, you will create a collaborative teaming environment for your colleagues.

How You Will Achieve It  

  • Contribute to the completion of project tasks and/or milestones. 

  • Develop detailed resource plans for production area shutdowns and regular maintenance work. 

  • Work with all teams to ensure identification, acquisition and kitting of parts; collection of tools, documentation and procedures is completed in preparation for work activities. 

  • Develop detailed schedules of upcoming work associated with future shutdowns or maintenance in conjunction with operations schedule to minimize equipment downtime. 

  • Collaborate with requestors and peers to develop and ensure an appropriate level of scope to allow the development of the corrective maintenance job plan and the efficient execution of work. 

  • Consult SMEs(Subject Matter Expert) and Maintenance Supervisors to assign a specific duration to planned maintenance and forecasted preventive maintenance. 

  • Assist, where required, craftsman/support teams in determining if scope changes can be completed without disrupting schedule. 

  • Lead shutdown preparation and progress meetings with Maintenance, Project Engineering and Operations. 

  • Issue informational and effectiveness reports based on team and business unit work. 

Qualifications 

Must-Have 

  • Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience OR an associate´s degree with 4 years of experience OR a bachelor´s degree with 0+ years of experience.

  • Competent computer skills in MS Project, CMMS, Excel, etc. 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Able to facilitate cross functional meetings.  

 

Nice-to-Have 

  • Experience and understanding of industry, equipment and technology principles, theories and practices.  

  • Knowledge and experience with continuous improvement change implementation. 

  • Familiarity of planning and execution of maintenance tasks and activities.

  • Higher level understanding of CMMS , Excel, and/or SQL formats/databases.

  • Note: Hiring Manger to update the methods and tools based on requirements.
