You will help to ensure that patients and physicians have the medicines they need, when they need them.

What You Will Achieve

You will help Pfizer ensure that all the production and packaging machinery is up and running. You will be relied on to conduct preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of our machinery. You will also perform specification checks and help interpret blueprints, sketches and engineering specifications. You will determine the sequence of operations and method of setup as well as assess the requirements of material, parts and equipment.

You will be a team member who is relied to have a good understanding of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Your decision making will help you prioritize workflows based on the available resources. You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks, some of which may vary in scope, sequence, complexity and timing. You will contribute to the team’s success by sharing your previously acquired knowledge.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Thorough understanding of the equipment and each job function within the work center along with the ability to troubleshoot minor problems
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Nice-to-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Sanitation in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing plant with blending experience
  

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, ability to perform mathematical calculations and ability to perform complex data analysis. Does not include requirements that are generally applicable to most or all jobs at Pfizer, such as “ability to communicate,” “ability to work on teams”, “office job involving use of computer”, etc.
