What You Will Achieve

You will be a member of Pfizer’s dedicated and highly effective quality assurance team. You will evaluate and review Pfizer’s clinical and commercial batches of drugs. You will make sure that product and process documents match the specifications based on established sampling and statistical process control procedures. Your expertise will help in identifying deviations from established standards, in the manufacturing and packaging of products. In the relevant cases you will approve investigations and change control activities to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.

You will be developing and applying your knowledge of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Your receptiveness to new ideas will enhance the team’s ability to achieve goals and targets.  You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks and identify process issues or problems that involve direct application of your skills/knowledge.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Manage own time and professional development and be accountable for own results.

  • Ensure compliance with area Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Ensure all storage areas are maintained at proper temperatures by review of temperature charts.

  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must have a proven ability to work with minimum supervision

  • Must possess the basic knowledge of cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and Food and Drug Administration requirements and computer skills

  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills

Nice-to-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Related experience in a Food and Drug Administration regulated industry, along with knowledge to provide guidance on quality related concerns

  

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • May require lifting up to 35 lbs, sitting, standing for periods of up to 90 minutes, walking, bending for extended periods of time, and performance of repetitive motions for up to 60 minutes.

  • Must also be able to perform mathematical calculations and some data analysis.   


NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • This is a 12 hour , night shift rotating position that works every other weekend. 2,2,3 schedule. Weekend and overtime work is required to meet the 12 hour shift schedule.
